Major changes in 7.1:
• tvOS 15 support has been restored and upgraded including media feedback, voice, and gestures. All devices from prior releases are automatically upgraded. Keyboard support goes through the normal system notifications system.
• TV Guide listings country support expanded to include Australia, Netherlands, Poland, Ireland, Belgium. Australia Foxtel may not provide listings.
• SSH Support: SSH support is now provided as an underlying connection type for code sets with server-side public key and client-side password support. A generic code set of brand SSH type Auxiliary allows sending shell commands to compatible devices such as macOS systems.
• SnapAV Wattboxes of both the old and new variety are now fully integrated in the Switches category of the Homebar. If you have Wattbox devices in your configuration, Update the manifest in the device to activate this.
• Sonos: Announcements via Sonos in Intercomm now provide a local-network-only grouped mode to synchronize all intercom audio throughout the home. This mode requires the sending device to be on the LAN or VPN. Remote intercom announcements via Sonos can be sent via the Sonos Cloud mode.
Major changes in 7.0:
• Roomie Voice Control! A new method of Voice Control has been added. When activated from Roomie’s Settings, the following syntax can be used. This feature is specific to each device, so you choose which devices listen for voice commands by activating it on that device. Roomie must be in the foreground to listen for commands. All commands begin with “Roomie”. If you do not specify a Room Name, the current room will be assumed.
• watch/play/turn on/start/launch/activate/open/toggle {Activity Name} [in {Room Name}]

10. sep 2020 Version 6.4.2
* Updates for compatibility with upcoming iOS and tvOS releases.
* Added support for LG 2020 TV models.
* Harmony: Fixed incorrect activity matching if more than one Harmony Hub synchronized.
* Harmony Synchronization: Automatic discovery and bi-directional current activity synchronization with Harmony Hubs. Add a Harmony Hub to the room in which it belongs, make sure your Activities share the same names, restart your Primary, everything else is automatic. This feature requires an always-on Primary Controller for Roomie, and a Hub-based Harmony product such as Elite, Companion, or Pro.
* Sonos Cloud Control: We now support two methods for Sonos speaker control. Our original direct LAN control method continues to work well and supports unique features like media browsing. The new cloud control method introduced in this release offers essentially all of the LAN functionality without media browsing. While this is the current parity with other industry software and is all that Sonos officially offers, we will continue to offer both methods for as long as the LAN method continues to work. We want to make sure we offer our users a known-certified control method going forward for Sonos rather than the method we have used for many years that has been extensively refined and is loved by many. We encourage using the original method if it suits you while new users may want to start with the new Cloud Service method. The new method does have some unique functionality as well including the new .PLAYER ANNOUNCE command that allows playing arbitrary URLs for MP3 files on your Sonos speaker.
* Samsung 2020 TV auto-discovery.
* Remove old Arlo and Nest devices. Both can be added now using HomeKit or HomeBridge.
* Fixed several issues with on-demand Dark Mode/Light Mode transitions.
* Action Panel: Fixes for media panel becoming too big with specific media images.
* Alexa: Fixed activity mismatch that could recognize activities in incorrect rooms if the activity name alone matched.
* Alexa: Remember Alexa-specific room instead of overlapping the current room of the local device.
* Alexa: Added Link Alexa Skill button to Settings.

* Video Camera Object Detection: RTSP cameras can now detect most common objects like people, cars, or buses. Objects are outlined. This feature is experimental. Voice notifications will occur for any person or bus while all object types are identified on screen. This defaults to off and must be turned on for each camera in the Advanced settings of the camera in Devices. Note that this feature requires a modern iOS device (minimum A12 CPU) to perform at an acceptable level.
* Hover support for iPadOS 13.4+ with a mouse/trackpad and macOS.
* Harmony Synchronization: Automatic discovery and bi-directional current activity synchronization with Harmony Hubs. Add a Harmony Hub to the room in which it belongs, make sure your Activities share the same names, restart your Primary, everything else is automatic. * Anthem MRX x20 receiver models now provide feedback. (Make sure to Force Update Codesets and reload.)
* Fixes for Music on macOS 10.15.4+.
* Removed Nest from the Cloud Service new pairing list as they terminated all APIs for all third parties in August 2019. If you already have Nest paired to Roomie and working (not sure this is true for anybody), it may continue to work. For die-hard Nest users (we have long recommended switching to Honeywell or Ecobee instead), one way today to use Nest with Roomie is Homebridge Nest which does work (for us anyway) – though the pairing and setup process can be extremely complex and is obviously not certified by Nest and they could break that at any time.

* Introducing Intercomm. Full intercom-style video conferencing, instantly connect with video or audio-only to any active Roomie in your home. Tap the new Intercomm button on the Homebar to try it!
* Intercomm also records Announcements to play on your Sonos speakers – make sure to Add a Sonos Cloud Device to activate this feature. Any previously playing content is reduced in volume during announcements. Even works remotely!

* Intercomm currently requires iOS; macOS support is expected soon.
* Haptics support for iPhone 12 models added.
* Plex Media Guide is now the media guide for nVidia Shield activities if a Plex Media Player is running on the Shield. Edit Shield activities to choose your Plex Media Server and change the Primary Device to the Shield. Ensure the PMP device from auto-discovery remains in your configuration.
* Custom Code Set Editor: An editor to create, import, and export custom device code sets right inside the app has been added.
* Diagnostic Logging: Zooming the screen (two finger gesture zoom out just like Photos) now opens a detailed live log for advanced diagnosis. For those advanced users that can benefit from it, it is now available.
